magnolia easter/spring lantern

I wanted to make something lovely to hang up on display for easter this year so I thought I'd do a lantern.
I have used a range of mangolia easter images...they are all so cute and coloured them with my much loved copic markers. I really enjoyed making this lantern and I hope you like it too....There is a candle on the inside of the lantern which would look lovely lit up of a night time ;-)
I used lots of ribbons and lace on this project along with some beautiful flowers.

see the bunny hiding on the inside of the lantern....

There's a chicken in there breaking out of his shell to celebrate along with tilda in her shell.....

flowers, ribbon / lace and gems...

fairy tree

scroll down for my lollipop ladies post/current challenge

The current challenge over at copic oz is to create a little magic...so i thought a fairy tree full of swiss pixies would suit this challenge well, here is what i created

little pixie on his swing and pixie on her tree stump...do you like the little fairy door...?
all the little pixies on the top of the tree

pixie with her wheelbarrow full of flowers

 arent they cuties...?

I drew and cut the tree template by hand then painted it with brown paint...it stands up by itself too ;-)
I coloured all the swiss pixies with my copic markers and made there wings sparkly with some stickles.
you could use this as a decoration, hang jewellery off the branches or for a little girls party...
let me know what you think of my creation i love to read your friendly comments....

The lollipop ladies - challenge 16 - candy necklaces

 {The Lollipop Ladies}

Its time for another sweet challenge over at the lollipop ladies and this fortnights inspiration is candy necklaces.....and an extra challenge of using circles

Here is my candy stripes inspiration card....
I thought it would be a great idea to actually include a candy necklace with the card...because who doesnt like receiving lollies as a gift...
i used the stampin up sweet treat cups to put the candy in and inside the card is a pull tab so that you can get the candy out without wrecking the card.

hope to see you all coming over and joining in the current challenge with the lollipop ladies, cant wait to see your creations!!!!

http://copicoz.blogspot.com/2011/02/challenge-8-little-magic.html

The stamp used is a c.c design pixie - she was actually sitting on a stump but i cut her off that so she could sit on  the chair. The sentiment is from a stampin up set.
